Our "Hospital"

Perhaps not everyone knows, so I thought I would post a picture of our hospital/birthing center:


Yes, it's the same as our house.

We're planning a water birth here at home, in a birthing tub. For the last 7 weeks or so we've been attending "Bradley Method" classes where they've shown us plenty of women giving birth at home and in the water, and we're finally getting comfortable with the whole thing (perhaps I was the only one that needed to get comfortable with it). There is actually a lot less screaming and cursing than you might expect.

As we get closer to the due date, we appreciate your thoughts but ask that you not send any gifts. My parents have already personally boosted the revenue figures of Babys-R-Us and similar retailers, and have a garage full of used baby clothes and equipment from their foster-care days, so we are plenty well prepared, thank you.
