Victoria and I went to the birthing center for her first official checkup on Wednesday, and we're happy to announce that we expect our first child to be born sometime around the first week of November.
This timing gives a good chance of overlap with either Victoria's Dad's birthday, Halloween (and David Weil's birthday), or my sister's birthday, in that order. I don't know why that is interesting to me, but it is.
If you click on the video below you can hear the baby's heartbeat. I apologize in advance for the low quality photo of Victoria's growing abdomen and the cheesy editing, but I assembled this on my mobile phone using one of the templates it had, and this was the best that I could get it after several attempts.
