Hey Lauren we finally got the chance to use the book today! Here's me sitting in Serb Hall, Milwaukee, WI home of the famous Friday fish fry. It's basically a Serbian club house which they only open to the public on Friday, luckily for us as the fish was fab. Homemade coleslaw was some of the best I've ever had.
Would you believe another of the book's picks was just around the corner so decided we may as well make complete pigs of ourselve's and top off the fish fry with a double serving of Wisconsins finest hand scooped custard from Leon's famous old fashioned drive in mmmmm :}
